This site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The points below describe what has actually been built and tested, not an aspiration.

What has been done

Text contrast is measured rather than assumed, including text set over the photograph on the home page, which was measured against the worst background pixel behind any letter at phone, tablet and desktop widths. The menu filter is a real radio group, so it works with a keyboard and is announced by screen readers. Every dish also states its country as text for screen readers, not only as a coloured mark. All motion is disabled under "reduce motion", and no motion is needed to understand anything on the site.

Known limitations

The restaurant menu is long. It is presented as real text rather than an image of a menu, and can be filtered to one country to shorten it, but it is still a long page to move through with a screen reader.
